Gamingtec team is a community of cat lovers. We got two furry cuties a year ago, and now they live in our office. Now, we have someone to greet the first person who enters the office in the morning.

Despite looking different, Betty and Beggy are sisters. The cats have their room where you can find lots of toys, but during the working day, cats can be found anywhere in the office. Both kitties are playful and friendly and always happy to get attention from anyone around.
If you are wondering whether it is worth having a pet-friendly office, check the list below.
1. Cats help us feel like home at work.
Your office is not merely a place to work, it is also a place where we spend around 40 hours a week, and that is quite a lot. That is why most of office workers try to make their working place more homelier. We bring framed family pictures, favourite mugs, we make birthday parties, and… stroke our cats.
2. Having a cat in the office reduces stress in employees.
Scientists say that cats reduce stress and increase productivity. Stroking a cat reduces risks of heart diseases by lowering blood pressure, reducing the heart rate, and boost your mood. It is important, wouldn’t you agree?
3. Playing with cats is a relaxing break that everyone needs during the day.
How many breaks do an average employee usually have during a working day? Bathroom and coffee breaks are not enough sometimes. While working hard for too long, employee productivity, mental well-being, and overall work performance begin to suffer. In this case, “kitty breaks” can come in handy. While playing with cats, people relax, get away from computers, and re-charge for the rest of the workday.
4. Cats are our best teachers.
Who can show you what unconditional love really means? Who can remind you to leave bad thoughts aside and be kinder and friendlier? Cats, cats, cats. They also remind us to clean up our workplaces, to not leave coffee cups on the tables, and to hide all the important documents.
5. Cats help employees to socialize in the office.
Cats are usually quite friendly to newcomers. That may come in handy if the newbies are shy and not easy to step out of their comfort zone. It is easier to start talking to new people if you know for sure you have a common topic to discuss. And cats can be such a topic!
